The purpose of the Department of Special Education prepares students to special education professionals who have both theoretical and practical knowledge. The program focuses on academic foundation and practices in special education as well as research methodology. The graduates in the Department of Special Education can work in a variety of settings including higher education, research centers, schools and districts, welfare-related institutions, and counseling centers.
특수교육학과의 목적은 이론과 실제를 겸비한 특수교육 전문가를 양성하는데 있다. 이를 위한 프로그램은 특수교육의 학문적 기초와 실제뿐 아니라 연구방법에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 졸업생은 대학, 연구소, 학교 및 교육청, 복지관련 기관, 그리고 상담실에서 특수교육 전문가로서 활동할 수 있다.
